The Mignon Tower HVAC Project will be located at Mignon Tower Residence Hall on the campus of Morehead State University. Full project scope and specifications are detailed in the attached Specifications and Drawings. furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, tools, appliances, equipment, services, etc., necessary for the Mignon Tower HVAC Project as set forth in the specifications and as shown on the drawings for as prepared by KLH Engineers and approved by Facilities Management, Morehead State University under the terms and conditions of this Invitation. All questions related to this project must be directed to Andrea Stone at a.stone@moreheadstate.edu. Responses to questions will be issued via addendum and posted to the Morehead State Planroom. All questions are due by March 5, 2025 at 4:30 pm. Questions received after this date and time will not be answered. Substantial completion shall be 37 calendar days after contract start date. Final completion shall be 44 calendar days after contract start date. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instruction to Bidders and/or General Conditions. Final award of Contract will be made on an evaluated basis considering the offer that provides the best value for the University considering the following factors: Price - 90% The overall price for the base bid and all selected alternates will be considered. Due to the nature of the project, Morehead State University reserves the right to accept alternates in any order that it deems to be in the best interest of the University. Morehead State University, Procurement Services, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all formalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the University may be served.
