Site work for a water / sewer project in Quincy, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Quincy's Project consists of installing a new 6" water main along Broadway (IL 104) from North 24th to North 30th, sewer replacements, lead water service replacements, and related items. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past. All bids shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the "Proposal Bid" form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the city of Quincy, or a bank cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check for not less than 5 percent of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. The City Council of Quincy reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
