Received em Notice to proceed date was March 19, 2025 BASE BID: (6,340 SF) Leave existing asphalt built-up roof in place and clean surface. Mechanically fasten new 2" base layers of insulation and adhere 1/8 " tapered insulation to achieve a minimum R-12. Install fully adhered 45 mil fleece-back KEE roofing membrane. provide manufacturer's 20-year ndl warranty. ALTERNATE 1: Provide an additional 1.5" layer of insulation fully adhered over base layer to achieve a minimum R-21. Add 2x wood nailers at roof edge as needed to accommodate insulation thickness. ALTERNATE 2: Provide an additional 1.5" layer of insulation fully adhered over alternate 1 to achieve a minimum R-30. Add 2x wood nailers at roof edge as needed to accommodate insulation thickness. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of Thirty (30) calendar days after the date set for bid opening. A five percent (5%) Bid Bond shall accompany bids over $50,000.00. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bonds, and certificates of Liability and Worker's Compensation Insurance. Niles Community Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects or irregularities in bids, and to accept any bid which is deemed most advantageous to the public interest.
