Walls To Remain In Place During Demo Will Be Determined By Contractor: a. North and east walls can either be left standing and demoed last, or demoed at the start of the project. The District has no preference. 2. Demo Floor Down To Slab 3. Cut Away Hanging Roofing Structure Up To Grid Lines H and 10 (Reference seismic construction documents). 4. Expose Two (2) Girders At Gridlines H and 10 - (Asbestos in drywall & surface material on girders) a. West side over weight room b. South side over bleachers 5. Expose Top 4'-6' Of Pilasters Bearing Girders 6. Demo East and North Exterior Walls a. Saw cut wall at 2'-3' from floor to mitigate foundation damage 7. Retain: a. All Banners Regardless of Condition. b. Center court Tornado graphic needs to be cut out, even if damaged. c. (100) 1' x 4" pieces of the gym floor. d. State Championship board if possible. e. Remove back-lit Black Tornado sign in lobby if possible. 8. Be Aware Of Retained Items In Lobby, Locker Rooms, and Upper Gym: a. Equipment and uniforms in upstairs gym. b. Football equipment in downstairs "no storage" area needs to be retained. c. Concession stand equipment needs to be retained. d. All wrestling mats need to be retained. e. All weight equipment needs to be retained. f. Black Tornado Hall of Fame plaques in lobby need to be retained. g. All record boards in weight room need to be retained if possible. h. Any doors and hardware that are reusable need to be retained. No bid security is required. If the Bid is accepted, Bidder shall execute an Agreement with the Owner and deliver the specified Performance and Payment Bonds.
