Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Delaney, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The proposed work includes the removal of the existing bridge and construction of a new 94 long x 24-6 wide bridge with concrete deck, concrete NU-35 I-girders, W-beam railing, concrete abutments on galvanized steel HP 12x53 piling, and other required appurtenances. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction 3rd Edition - January 2025 including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The DBE goal for this project is 5%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project. The Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder who provides the lowest price complying with the Conditions of the Contract Documents within the Owners budget.
