The proposed work includes the removal of the existing bridge and construction of an 80 feet long x 24.5 feet wide steel girder bridge with a concrete deck, w-beam rails, reinforced concrete abutments, galvanized HP 12x53 piles, and other required appurtenances. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2019 Edition including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The DBE goal for this project is 5%.
