Building and Facility Construction and Maintenance Services Clarify Questions are due February 26, 2025 Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for ON-CALL ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SERVICES 5. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The term of this Contract begins on the date the Notice of Award is signed by both the Offeror and The BOARD (the "Effective Date") and shall continue for a period of three (3) years ("Initial Term"). In its sole discretion, The Board shall have the unilateral right to renew the Contract for two (2) one-year option periods successive (each a "Renewal Term") at the prices established at contract award. "Term" means the Initial Term and any Renewal Term(s). 6. OPTION TO EXTEND SERVICE The Board may require continued performance of any services within the limits and at the rates specified in the contract. The option to extend provision may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of performance hereunder shall not exceed 12 months. The intent of this procurement is to establish On-Call Design Services contracts for Architectural/Engineering for PGCPS. PGCPS desires to procure Architectural/Engineering (A/E) services, as applicable, to support PGCPS construction services on an as needed basis. As such, PGCPS is seeking the services of qualified and experienced firms to provide Tier I Consulting Services for projects under $2M in construction value and Tier II Consulting Services for Major Projects over $2M in construction value. The firm will be required to provide complete design services as requested (i.e., Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Bidding, Construction Administration and Post Construction) as well as any other identified special services on individual projects on a task order basis. PGCPS anticipates multiple awards resulting from this procurement for an aggregate award amount not to exceed $2,000,000.00 million dollar per Tier I per firm and $5,000,000.00 per Tier II per firm. All proposers are advised that such dollar amounts are estimates only and all proposers further understand and agree that in providing such estimates, PGCPS makes no guarantee that any or all of the estimated work will be assigned to the selected On-Call A/E firms. Upon selection of the A/E firms and approval by the Board of Prince George's County Public Schools, a Contract will be fully executed with the successful A/E firms. The Contract will govern all design work performed by the awarded firms. A copy of the Form of Agreement with Architects and Engineers will be provided to the pre-qualified firms. This document will be the contract form to be signed by the successful A/E firms. The successful A/E firms will be required to sign the PGCPS' A/E Standard Form of Agreement. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
