Mid-Del Public Schools is soliciting sealed proposals for projects of $25,000.00 or greater to provide Fuel Pump Replacement - See "Attachment G" for "General Conditions", "Scope of Work & Specifications", and other bid requirements. This solicitation is pursuant to Board of Education Policy D-5, attached. Equivalent substitutions may be considered, but only if submitted in writing no less than two (2) business days prior to bid opening. The District reserves the right to reject or accept, in part or in whole, any and/or all proposals, as well as to accept one or more bid proposals, according to the best interests of the District. Furthermore, the District shall not be liable for any costs associated with the preparation, compiling, or submitting of proposals; whether successful or not. Key dates in the procurement process are: Recommendation to Board of Education, Board of Education meeting 03/10/2025 6:00 p.m. Board Room Notification of Selected Vendors 03/11/2025 Requests for information regarding the RFP purchasing process and/or timelines will be addressed to Lisa Wilson, Mid-Del Schools Purchasing Specialist, 405-737-4461, ext. 1249, e-mail address: lrwilson@mid-del.net PART 1 - SCOPE OF WORK 1.1 GENERAL OVERVIEW The Mid-Del School District is requesting a proposal for the replacement of 2 fuel pumps, 1 gasoline and 1 diesel at the District Maintenance yard located at 225 N. King and 4 fuel pumps, 2 gasoline and 2 diesel at the District Transportation facility located at 607 W. Rickenbacker. Each location will also require a fuel management system for the newly installed fuel pumps. The Contractor is responsible for: PART 2 - SPECIFICATIONS Specifications: The proposal must include the following: o Removal and all costs related to the disposal of the old pumps. o Delivery and installation of new pumps. o Acceptable model of equipment is: o Fuel Master o Gasboy o Equivalent o Pumps must have the following capabilities: o For Commercial Applications o Island Installation o Weights and measures certified o External Filter Kit o Need to work with below ground storage tanks o Pumping Rates for proposed Diesel & Gasoline Pumps o Installation and configuration of new fuel controller and associated fuel management software. o PIN entry on the Fuel Management System (FMS) o Communication to be via ethernet or wireless connection provided by the district. o Specify cloud based and server based software management options o Cloud based option must include any annual reoccurring costs o Must maintain local operation in the event of temporary loss of internet connectivity o Server based option to include equipment cost and anticipated life span of equipment
