Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Blackfoot, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

ESCRIPTION OF WORK. The work shall consist of removing existing sidewalk and designated driveway locations, placing and compacting 4 inches of 3/4 " aggregate base coarse, installing 4 inches of 5-foot-wide concrete sidewalk, city standard curb and gutter, ADA ramps, ADS StormTech system, storm drainpipe, manholes, and catch basins along the north side of East Airport Road from Highland Drive to Chaparro Lane. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents, the plans, the Idaho Standards for Public Works 2020 Edition, and any applicable Federal, State and Local requirements. Project duration time frame is from May 2025 to August 2025. SITE OF WORK. The site of the work is within the Blackfoot city limits along East Airport Road. BID SECURITY: Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of 5 percent of the Total Bid Price payable to the City of Paris, as a guarantee that the BIDDER, if its Bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. A bid shall not be considered unless the BIDDER's security is enclosed with it. BID WITHDRAWAL: No BIDDER may withdraw his proposal after the hour set for the opening thereof, or before the selection by the Owner, unless said selection is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) calendar days. FEDERAL WAGE RATE DETERMINATION: Davis Bacon Wage Determinations are a requirement of this project. BUY AMERICA: This contract involves federal-aid funding and must comply with Buy America. LICENSES: Each BIDDER must have a Public Works Contractors license in the State of Idaho prior to bid opening in accordance with Idaho law. OWNERS RIGHTS RESERVED. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals, to waive any formality in the Bidding Contract Documents, and to make selection to the lowest responsive, responsible, and qualified CONTRACTOR as it may best serve the interest of the OWNER. The city received $250,000 LHTAC funding for this project and quantities may need to be adjusted to stay within the budget.
