Site work for a water / sewer project in Sentinel Butte, North Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Attendees of the bid opening must check in at the Bank of North Dakota lobby and receive a visitor s ID badge. Attendees will be escorted to the Bid opening room by Department of Water Resources staff. Mailed Bids shall be addressed to Justin Froseth, P.E., North Dakota Department of Water Resources (NDDWR), with an internal envelope containing the bid clearly indicated to be a Sealed Bid for Buffalo Gap Tank, SWPP Contract 5-19. The Project includes the following Work: The scope of WORK generally consists of furnishing and installing one above ground welded steel or factory coated glass lined bolted steel potable water storage reservoir, approximately 500,000 gallons that is 48 feet in diameter and 37 feet to overflow, complete with inlet/outlet, drain, overflow and structures, underdrain piping, reinforced concrete ring wall foundation, valves, site access road, Electrical, site work, cathodic protection system, and other appurtenant items as required by the Project Drawings, Specifications, and Contract Documents. The Buffalo Gap Tank is located in Golden Valley County approximately 4.9 miles east of Sentinel Butte, ND. The Project has a Substantial Completion date of June 15, 2026. An optional Bid Alternate is included for a Milestone Completion date of December 1, 2025. This Milestone Completion is defined by the Contract Documents as achievement of the intended use of the facility. Each Bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a copy of a current and valid North Dakota Contractor's License issued at least ten (10) days prior to Bid opening, and a Bidder's Bond in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the Bid, executed by the Bidder as Principal and by a Surety, conditioned that if the Principal's Bid is accepted and the Contract awarded to Principal, the Principal, within ten (10) days after notice of award, shall execute a Contract in accordance with the terms of the Bid and a Contractor's Bond as required by law and regulations and determinations of the North Dakota State Water Commission. Bidders shall submit proof of qualification to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website in PDF format for a non-refundable charge of $100 by using the following Quest project number 9557749 . Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. The non-refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $300 per set. Upon Issuing Office s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder s delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen.
