This includes the removal of existing insulation and cover board, EPDM, natural slate tile, synthetic slate tile, and copper tile. All associated sheet metal flashing, gutters, and roof drains as specified in the bid plans and technical specifications are a component part of this project. A Notice To Proceed is anticipated to be given to the successful bidder for early April 2025. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors in the State of Tennessee in strict accordance with State regulations. No bid will be opened unless the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid provides the following information: the Contractor's name, address, and license number; the date of the license expiration; and a quotation of that part of the license classification applicable to the bid. Each Bidder must deposit (with his/her bid) bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. 100% Performance and Payment bonds are required of the successful bidder. Successful contractor must sign Montgomery County Government's provided signature forms. No Bidder may withdraw his bid for sixty (60) days following the bid opening. The right to reject any or all bids and to wave technicalities is reserved by the owner. Construction Manager has been engaged for this Project to serve as an advisor to Owner and to provide assistance in administering the Contract for Construction between Owner and each Contractor, according to a separate contract between Owner and Construction Manager. 2. In Specification Sections, the terms "Construction Manager" and "Contractor" are synonymous. Project consists of providing all materials, labor, equipment, supervision, permits and services required to perform repairs in the <3 Courthouse Buildings Roof Replacements> in accordance with the Contract Documents.
