Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Savannah, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
As of June 5, 2025, the project was awarded to C & C Bridge & Concrete Inc, with an awarded amount of $162,000. As of May 9, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. We propose to perform the work described below, and as outlined in the Specifications and Drawings, for the price as indicated. We will comply with governmental regulations including prevailing wage rates. Our Bid Bond or Cashier's Check in the amount of 5% of our bid is attached hereto. On acceptance of our bid, we will furnish the County with a Performance Bond, certificates of Liability and Property Damage Insurance in the amount of $500,000.00 and proof of Workman's Compensation Insurance in accordance with statutory limits. Prior to final payment, we will furnish the County certificates that there are no liens for material or labor used in the work, and that the prescribed prevailing wage rates in this area have been paid to all workers. Specifically, we propose to provide equipment, labor and material, not specifically provided by the County or others, required to perform all work for LAYING OUT BRIDGE H-PILE, DRIVING H-PILE, DRIVING SHEET PILING, CONSTRUCTING CHANNEL CAP, SETTING BEAMS, WELDING END CHANNELS, WELDING CHANNELS ON TOP OF SHEET PILE and INSTALLING DIAPHRAMS, for the total lump sum indicated below. The bridge shall be completed within sixty (60) calendar days after execution of the contract by the County. Delays caused by inclement weather or unworkable conditions at the site will be considered in enforcement of this requirement. Should the Contractor not pursue the work with due diligence, the ANDREW COUNTY COMMISSION shall have the right to deduct $500.00 per calendar day, for each calendar day after the agreed scheduled completion, as liquidated damages. The County will have the existing bridge removed and the excavation done for the abutment piles to be driven. The Contractor will be responsible for the layout of the new piles and driving them to practical refusal as per AASHTO Section 4 Division 2 and inspected by the engineer. The bridge shall be completed within sixty (60) calendar days after execution of the contract by the County, but no later than October 31, 2025.
