2025 Bituminous Street Reconstruction BITUMINOUS STREET RECONSTRUCTION Approximate Quantities are as follows: Remove Concrete Sidewalk 3,750 SF Remove Bituminous Pavement 10,600 SY Common Excavation (LV) 10,800 CY Aggregate Base, Class 2 or 5 5,600 Ton Mill Bituminous Surface 1.5" 7,850 SY Bituminous Mixtures 4,450 Ton 6" Corrugated Drain Tile 5,000 LF Concrete Sidewalk (4"-6") 12,250 SF Concrete Curb and Gutter (B624) 4,100 LF Sodding, Type Lawn 3,350 SY Storm Sewer, RCP 1,670 LF Construct Storm Drainage Structure 16 EA Sanitary Sewer, PVC 2,650 LF Construct Sanitary Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept or reject any alternatives, waive any informalities, or to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City. Bids may be held by the City Council of Austin for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to award of the contract.
