The Town has issued an Invitation to Bid for the installation of a box culvert on Rinehart Road to replace a temporary culvert at a location that underwent significant flooding damage in June 2023. This is a FEMA funded project. The Town seeks bids from small and minority businesses and women's business enterprises. Sealed bids from pre-qualified contractors shall be accepted for construction of the project hereinafter described. Each BID must be accompanied by a certified check payable to the Town of Londonderry for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID. A BID bond may be used in lieu of a certified check LOCATION: Rinehart Road: 500' North of the intersection with Barker Road. TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: Work to be performed under this project includes: Replacement of the existing 6' diameter CMP with a 18' wide x 6' height x 56' long precast box culvert with headwalls/wingwalls. CONTRACT COMPLETION DATE: The Contract shall be completed between July 1st and October 1st, 2025. A June 1st start date may be possible with the Corp of Engineers approval. ENGINEERS ESTIMATE: For this Proposal the Engineers Estimate is $500,000.
