This is the Phase 2 solicitation following an Invitation to Qualify. Only qualified suppliers have been invited to bid. Fisheries and Oceans Canada and Small Craft Harbours (SCH) will be upgrading their existing electrical system serving the Floats A, B and C located in Madeira Park Harbour, adjacent to Pender Harbour on the Sunshine Coast of southwestern British Columbia, Canada. Work under this Contract consists of but is not limited to the following: -Provision of temporary power supply as required by SCH during the project. -Provide shop drawings of all new equipment to be provided, for review by Departmental Representative seven (7) working days prior to procurement. - Replace both panels in the ‘Workshop’ and ‘Kiosk’ buildings. - Replace the ‘Float Distribution Panel’ and kiosk -Remove one (1) of the existing 60A, 3P, 208V pin and sleeve receptacle pedestals -Replace all nine (9) existing Receptacle Cabinets (RC) on Float B and Float C and install one (1) additional RC on Float B -Replace the existing 400A disconnect which feeds the ‘Float Distribution Panel’ with a 600A circuit breaker complete with ground fault detection system. Circuit breaker shall be configured with 400A trip setting. -Remove and replace all cabling, junction boxes, and conduits between the 600A circuit breaker, ‘Float Distribution Panel’, and RCs -Remove the existing feeder from the electrical room which feeds ‘Panel W’ and install a new feeder from the proposed ‘Float Distribution Panel’ to power ‘Panel W’.
