Renovation of a municipal facility in Greenville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Municipal Building Roofing and Siding Replacement This project will generally consist of replacing the existing shingle roof with new shingles and new vinyl siding. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of East Greenville. Award of Contract, if a Contract be awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. Questions Due Date: Mar 24th 2025, 12:00 AM EDT The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body project. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, as set forth in the Contract Documents, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. In addition, the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or disability. The Borough of East Greenville reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding when, in the opinion of the Borough, such rejections or waivers shall be to its interest or advantage. Prior to awarding the contract, bids may be held by the Borough of East Greenville for a period not to exceed (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders.
