Project No. 25-02 consists of demolition and clearance of three (3) residential structures. 16 S. Front Street 48 S. Race Street 55 S. Race Street Bids must be submitted on prescribed forms furnished by the Borough of Greenville and completed in strict accordance with instructions provided. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, in the form of a certified check or corporate surety bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid proposal, made in favor of the Borough of Greenville. The contract documents contain requirements addressing labor standards, nondiscrimination in hiring practices, goals for minority MBE and female participation WBE, participation by Section 3 residents and businesses and related matters. No bid or any part thereof shall be withdrawn by the Bidder for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to opening of bids. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all or to waive any informality in the bids. Bids may be held by the Borough of Greenville for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of opening of bids. In no event will the Borough of Greenville consider a contractor as eligible if he cannot initiate the work under the contract within fifteen (15) days of the contract execution and proceed to the successful completion of the work within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. he demolition and site restoration must be completed within sixty (60) days from the date of the demolition permit. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Local Public Agency.
