Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Berryton, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility.
Shawnee Heights Fire District Station #27 - Bid Package #1 - Earthwork and Site Utilities Bid Package #1 - Earthwork and Site Utilities, Complete; for the New Fire Station to be located at 5444 SE 61st Street, Berryton, KS 66409 Work included: Trade Contract 31A Scope of work including, but not limited to: General Requirements, Complete, single source, turnkey installation for the Site Clearing, Site Demo, Earthwork and Site Utilities including but not limited to construction entrances, site clearing, mass excavation, tree and vegetation removal as required, road crossings, traffic control, backfill and compaction, concrete and asphalt patching, surveying, domestic and fires service lines, storm sewer piping, precast structures, sanitary sewer (complete lateral system), erosion control, and final seeding as required for a complete project. There will not be a pre-bid meeting, but bidders are encouraged to visit the site and review the existing conditions. The site is at 5444 SE 61st Street, Berryton, KS 66409. Bidders are also encouraged to thoroughly review the bid invitation and scope of work. These documents are part of the contract documents and will be included with any contract. The site is currently a greenfield site and can be visited at any time. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site to familiarize themselves with the existing conditions. Attention to the following bid requirements for a bid to be determined responsive: - Complete, sign and include Attachments A, B, C, D, & E found at the end of this bid package document along with your bid form and bid bond (if required) with your bid submission. - Surety Bid Bond for 5% of Base Bid will be required for all bids over $500,000. - Performance, payment, and maintenance bonds will be required by the lowest responsible bidder for any subcontractor whose bid exceeds $100,000. These costs are to be included in your bid amount per the bid form.
