Reference Number 0000382503 The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District is requesting s from contractors to provide labor, materials, equipment, and services for concrete and asphalt-related projects. This contract will be for a term of 3 s and an estimated $3M. These projects will include tasks such as the installation, removal, and repair of various structures, including sidewalks, curbs, ramps, and pavement. To ensure the work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations, contractors will be responsible for managing traffic control, securing any required permits, and performing all necessary tasks associated with the project. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the following concrete and asphalt projects within the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District: o Concrete and Asphalt Installation, Removal, and Replacement o New installations of concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters, ramps (including ADA sidewalk ramps), and driveways. o Removal and replacement of damaged sections of existing concrete and asphalt surfaces. o Repair of failed asphalt and/or concrete pavement. Including asphalt concrete pavement tie-in. o Replacement of curb inlets and repair of adjacent sidewalk flags. o Miscellaneous concrete repairs as needed. o Additional Work Tasks o Saw cutting, excavation, backfilling, and compaction. o Installation of root barriers. o Patching asphalt conforms adjacent to new gutters. o Clearing and grubbing. o Contractor Responsibilities o Provide all necessary labor, equipment, supervision, tools, materials, and supplies. o Manage traffic control and notifications. o Obtain and apply for any necessary permits. o Complete all incidental tasks required to ensure safe and efficient project execution. The contractor's must include costs for all items listed in the Proposed Cost Form. o Unit prices shall remain fixed, even if additional work is added or removed.
