Renovation of a multi-residential development in Danville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

As of May 8, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Bids received must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and clearly marked "Mer Che RTU Question Deadline Mar 19, 2025 Replacement". Bid Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount of not less than 5% of the base bid shall be submitted with each bid. Failure to submit an acceptable bid bond with the bid will result in the rejection of the bid. Attention is called to the provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity and payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages set forth in the bid documents. All Contractors who are awarded construction related contracts must document Affirmative Action to ensure Equal Opportunity in Employment. This documentation is subject to review by the Regional Office of the Department of Labor. As a part of normal contract administration, Vermilion Housing Authority is responsible for determining the Contractor's compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity Clause and Affirmative Action Requirements as well as the Contractor's performance in executing those requirements. All MBE/DBE/WBE Contractors, Subcontractors and Suppliers are encouraged to participate on Vermilion Housing Authority projects. Vermilion Housing Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any and all technicalities. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of (90) calendar days subsequent to the opening of the bids without the written consent of Vermilion Housing Authority. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Removal and replacement existing RTU which was heat only to a new heat and cooling RTU and provide new grilles at each floor for the make-up air Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.
