Site work and paving for a civil project in Baxter, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The proposed work includes, but is not limited, to the following: Sanitary sewer bypass pumping. Select demolish, lift station wet well cover, pump and guide rail system installation, discharge piping and control panel replacement. Valve vault discharge piping and cover. Site removals, bituminous driveway construction and all related restoration. An optional paper set of project documents is also available from CES Imaging for a nonrefundable price of $30 plus printing costs. If you choose a paper copy you will get all addenda as paper copies and will be charged for the printing costs. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. The Bond shall be made payable without condition to the Owner as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will promptly execute the Agreement in accordance with the Bid and the other Contract Documents. A. Scope of alterations work is indicated on drawings. B. Renovate the following areas, complete including operational mechanical and electrical work and finishes: 1. Wet Well. 2. Valve Vault. C. Refinish all surface areas of the following, as specified: 1. Bituminous driveway. D. Lift Station: +Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operation. E. Contractor is required to remove and deliver the following to Owner prior to start of work: 1. Items as indicated on the plans. Temporary bypass pumping. Demolition and salvage of select lift station and valve vault components as detailed in the plans. Transportation and coordination of Owner supplied lift station and valve vault access hatches with precast manufacturer. Installation of lift station precast cover, vent pipe, valve vault cover, pump base elbows, discharge piping, pipe fittings, valves, bypass suction pipe, pump guide rails, cable racks and all other necessary components prior to installation of pumps and controls. Following control panel and pump installation, the lift station shall be complete and ready for full operation. Contractor is responsible for startup of the lift station and shall coordinate this work with Owner. Various components including pumps, motors, base elbows, lifting components, aluminum access hatches and miscellaneous connection fittings (rails, elbows, etc) will be furnished by the City and installed by the Contractor.
