The contractor shall furnish all labour, equipment and material to perform the work as specified herein. The work shall include: Crush _25,000_ cubic yards of gravel as per bid item _2025.02 (crushing). The Bidder is required to submit with its Tender, a Consent of Surety and a Bid Bond or certified cheque equivalent to 10.0% of the tender sum. The Bid Bond and Consent of Surety shall be issued by a Surety Company licensed in the Province of Saskatchewan and satisfactory to the RM. In accordance with specifications for specified completion date, the following will apply: o The contractor shall complete all the work by July 31, 2025. The Rural Municipality of Torch River is not obligated to accept the lowest or any tender. A bidder may, without prejudice to himself, withdraw his tender at any time up to within two (2) hours of the time set for the closing of the tenders. The tenders received will be valid for a period of fifteen (15) days from the date of the opening of the tender The Rural Municipality reserves the right to cancel the acceptance of any tender at any time before the execution of the contract by all parties, without any liability against the Rural Municipality. Complete the work within the time stated. By mutual agreement the preferred commencement date for the tender shall be June 15, 2025, and the completion date shall be no later than July 31, 2025
