This Project is Being Funded by the American Rescue Plan of 2021 (Arpa). All Arpa Funding Requirements Are to Be Followed for This Project. This Includes Mbe/wbe Requirements, the Davis-bacon Act, the Build America, Buy America Act (Babaa), and All Other Applicable Requirements for Projects Funded by Arpa The Project Consists of Partial Demolition of the Existing Pump Station, Construction of a New Pump Station, and All Necessary Site and Ancillary Work to Connect the Pump Station to Existing Water Infrastructure to Remain. The Town of Altavista Encourages Small Businesses and Businesses Owned by Women and Minorities to Participate in Bidding of This Project. Envelopes Containing Bids Shall Be Clearly Marked With the Bidder's Contractor License Number. These Requirements Include That All Iron and Steel Products, Manufactured Products, and Construction Materials Are to Be Produced in the United States Unless an Exception Waiver Has Been Applied for and Approved in Compliance With the Consolidated Appropriations Act and All Related EPA Guidelines. Question Deadline 04/24/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
