**As of May 23,2025 , the project was awarded to Village Building Company, with an awarded amount of $109,450.** Powhatan County, Virginia is soliciting quotes from qualified, licensed and experienced contractors to renovate the interior space of the Commonwealth's Attorney Building located at 3801 Marion Harland Ln, Powhatan, VA. Powhatan County, Virginia, herein known as "County" is seeking quotes from qualified and licensed contractors to complete the renovation of the County's Commonwealth's Attorney Building described herein. All renovations shall be completed 90 days after the start of work. The Commonwealth's Attorney Office is located at 3801 Marion Harland Ln, Powhatan, VA. It is estimated to have been built in the early 1980's. SCOPE OF WORK The successful contractor shall furnish all supervision, equipment, labor, and materials necessary to complete the renovation of the interior of the Commonwealth's Attorney building as detailed in this solicitation and all attached plan sheets. The renovation shall include but not be limited to: Construction of a new vestibule at the main entrance of the building and new partition walls using 26-gauge metals studs. New cabinets and countertops in the existing kitchen Removal of existing flooring to be replaced with new carpet and LVT flooring, specified in plan sheet A1. Removal of existing wallpaper in the building and preparation and priming of unfinished surfaces to be painted with new paint, including new exterior and vestibule doors (to be installed by the County). County has contracted with National Security Door to provide and install access control panels and doors for vestibule entrance and side entrance. Contractor shall work with County on installation scheduling. It is the County's desire to have all work completed no later than 90 days after Notice to Proceed is issued. County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. In the event County rejects all bids, County may re-advertise or make the purchase on the open market.
