DPS is seeking bids for the Rosenberg THP office Training Room Expansion. SCOPE OF WORK A. This section outlines the scope of work included in the project. Refer to the appropriate drawings and specification sections for further information about installation, preparation methods and components to be provided. The contractor is responsible for including all means and methods necessary to complete this portion of the project. The Contract Documents, otherwise referred to as drawings, shall serve as a part of this scope of work showing more detail on the intent of this project. The Contractor is responsible for including all means and methods necessary to complete this project and to field verify existing conditions and dimensions. In general, the work includes, but is not limited to, the following items: 1. Field verify existing conditions and dimensions. 2. See drawings and keynote legend. 3. See flooring selection. 4. For data, provide junction box and conduits down within walls and to data outlets. DPS IT will provide and route data cabling. 5. Before construction DPS will disconnect all power and data from furniture and copiers and reconnect after construction. 6. Before construction DPS will remove all personal items, wall hangings and tv monitors (not brackets) from walls. Where furniture is lockable, personal items will not be removed and furniture will be locked. 7. See security and data drawings for information only. DPS will complete IT and data scope unless noted otherwise. 8. Rebalance air to ensure existing air volumes are delivered to spaces in area of work. 9. Move furniture within area of work as needed to accomplish work. 10. Work may be done during regular business hours, after hours and on weekends. 11. Ensure all applicable codes and ADA/ADAAG/TAS regulations are followed. 12. Provide a minimum one (1) year Warranty on all installation work. 13. Provide turnkey project as indicated on the drawings and as required for complete project
