**As of May 07, 2025, this project has been awarded to MHTN Architects but the bid amount is not yet available.** The Jordan School District (JSD, District) is requesting qualifications from experienced and qualified Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) firms to provide pre-construction services and act as the General Contractor (Contractor) for the renovation of approximately 380,000 square feet at West Jordan High School. The selected CM/GC will work closely with the District, design professionals, and other stakeholders to complete the renovation within budget, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. The renovation work at West Jordan High School will address several key areas to update the facility, including architectural, electrical, mechanical, and structural upgrades. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Finishes o Resilient flooring and carpet. o Wall finishes and ceiling updates. Accessibility (ADA) o Updating doors, hardware, restrooms, and site access to meet current accessibility standards. o Safety and Security o Safety updates to conform with recent legislation and USBE recommendations. Locker Room and Weight Room Expansions CTE (Career and Technical Education) Program Updates and Expansion Auditorium Updates Relocation of Pro-Start Kitchen to Main Level Roof Replacement Exterior Storage Construction Electrical Updates o Installation of new, energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the school. o Lighting controls updated to meet current code requirements. o Installation of additional power for classrooms. Audio-Visual Components o New audio-visual systems for teaching spaces. Mechanical Updates o Updates to the automatic temperature controls. o Replacement or updating of outdated mechanical equipment. Structural Updates o Structural improvements to address seismic deficiencies Fixed Limit of Construction Cost (FLCC) for the CM/GC is $87,000,000. The CM/GC must be capable and willing to work closely with the Owner and Design Professional (which is MHTN Architects through the design phase), providing cost estimates, schedules and feedback on constructability of design details and availability of materials selected. It is anticipated that plans will be complete as early as October 2025. Construction is expected to commence as early as late Fall 2025 or early Spring 2026, with completion by July 2030. This is the cost of payment and performance bonds based on an amount equal to 100% of the FLCC amount.
