Nebraska Public Power District (District) intends to enter into competitive negotiations with vendors that are capable of providing SCCT generating equipment, high voltage transformers, and appurtenant high voltage support equipment of specific size requirements and also to procure services to engineer, procure, construct and commission (EPCC) this facility as part of the District's Phase 3 capacity additionel fort. Due to the unique design and technological complexity of the 3x0 SCCT generation platforms, high voltage transformers, and the specific design requirements for this equipment with the balance of the infrastructure and commissioning required for the integrated site, it is not possible for the District to prepare bid specifications that will allow bidders to prepare a design that addresses all the necessary criteria and compare the bidders on an equal basis; there fore, it is not in the public interest to comply with Neb. Rev. Stat. Section 70-637 (2). All inquiries concerning said contracts should be directed to Carol A. Balerud, Procurement Manager, at the District's General Office, 1414 15th Street, Columbus, Nebraska 68601. All inquiries must be received by March 25, 2025,after which time the District will proceed into competitive negotiations with vendors capable of providing the SCCT generation platforms, high voltagetrans formers, appurtenant high voltage support equipment, and EPCC services for the 3x0 SCCT generation facility.
