Gage County, Nebraska (hereinafter referred to as "the County") is requesting "Statements of Qualifications" and other pertinent information from qualified engineering firms interested in assisting the County in preparing the design and specification of comprehensive road improvements. The County has been awarded funding under Congressional Project Funding (CPF) through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the purpose of funding improvements to two (2) existing asphalt roads: Odell Road (SW 61 st Rd), a 12-mile road which connects Odell, Nebraska to U.S. Highway 136, and Christ Lutheran Road (S 25 th Rd), a 6-mile road which connects Pickrell, Nebraska to U.S. Highway 41 East. Both roads are over 20 years old and in need of rehabilitation. Road improvement activities are expected to include all activities associated with comprehensive road rehabilitation. Qualified firms responding to this proposal will assist in all the services needed for a completed project, to include at a minimum: design for the final improvements, preparation of bidding documents, assistance in the bidding process, and construction contract administration and oversight. Any interested firms should submit, in writing, their statement of qualifications.
