A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The proposed project located in Blountstown, Florida includes repairs to the influent pumping station; new screening and grit removal systems and headworks structural rehabilitation; SBR cleaning, new blowers, and equipment replacement to return the system to parallel treatment; new post-equalization tank; new sodium hypochlorite disinfection with new chlorine contact tanks and demolition of the existing filters and U.V. disinfection system; new aerobic sludge digestion tanks and blowers, upgrade electrical and SCADA systems; new effluent pumping station and force main; new groundwater recharge constructed wetlands to eliminate the existing point discharge; new plant reuse system; and demolition and removal of abandoned process structures and equipment.
