The City of St. John's is looking to procure Construction Management Services (Pre-Construction & Construction) for a new fire station located in Goulds, Newfoundland and Labrador. The new station will service Goulds and the surrounding areas and will replace the existing volunteer fire station. It will include 3 drive-through service bays, an apparatus, bay floor, kitchen, training and sleeping quarters as well as some administrative space. The fire station will be designed to meet Passive House Standards, with the intent of achieving Passive House Certification. The successful proponent will be required to undertake a wide range of services, including but not limited to the following: participating in design reviews and meetings, estimating, tender services, construction, testing, commissioning, training and project closeout. TIMELINE: RFP has been cancelled. Re-tender timelines are not available. Coverage of this report is discontinued at this time.
