Renovation of a municipal facility in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Scope of Work: (Contractor must obtain and submit all permits prior to performing any work). PROJECT NAME: Port of Miami - Wireless PTP Relocation Estimated Value: $100,000 LOCATION: 1007 North America Way, Miami, Fl 33132 Vendor participating on this Bid must be Radwin Certified and must be able to install configure and align this type of radios. Scope of Services includes The project consists of the relocation of the wireless Point-to-Point radios from the main Seaport Administration Building located at 1007 North America Way, Miami, Fl 33132 to the parking garage located at Seaport Garage K 1124 Caribbean Way, Miami, 33132. The main administration building is schedule to begin demolishing around FY2024 or FY2025. The vendor will provide a quote that will include the design, configuration, installation, RF study, and repair of any damaged equipment if required that includes all necessary components to establish a 100% working wireless PTP system. The new implementation will include new wireless radios if required, high-end industrial surge protectors, outdoor lighting Protection, industrial 8 port BT++ network switches if required that provide up to 90W of POE power to each port, marine graded brackets and mounts, outdoor rated cabling, shielded RJ45 adapters, L-Comm industrial NEMA enclosure, plug moisture sealing electrical tape, grounding, etc. In addition, vendor as part of the quote will include the repair of the existing wireless radio link from the new location Seaport Garage K1124 Caribbean Way, Miami, 33132 to Overtown North Tower located at 701 NW 6th Court, Miami, Florida 33132, and include all new necessary equipment, design, configuration, installation, RF study, to establish a 100% working wireless PTP system. Included in the vendor's quote will be all necessary equipment and associated components, as well as vendor installation services scope of work, grounding for lightning protection required, and equipment cabling to provide a functional wireless point-to-point solution. Vendor will configure all industrial switches with assistance from ITD. Vendor will perform the installation of all the equipment as per the SOW. The Information Technology Department (ITD) Video Management Team & (ITD) Seaport Administrators Team have performed an assessment at the location and will provide instructions as to the new location where the main administration radios will be relocated and installed. The vendor will provide their recommendations as the new solution and will discuss their recommendations with the County's ITD Department staff for approval. There will be no requests of percentage of payment submittals excepted. The vendor must complete their work 100% percent and tested by both parties (Vendor & County) before any payment request is excepted by the County. This is a vital system for the Port of Miami and needs to be 100% on-line functioning before any payment of any sort is released. Vendor will provide a quote to the County's Information Technology Department for the following services to customer "Miami-Dade County Port of Miami, o Radio Design, configuration, installation, and implementation. Quote will include 100% equipment required for full system functionality. o Low Voltage Permit o Garage Pole Wind Load Calculations if required o Miami-Dade County's Wireless PTP Radios Model Recommendations: 1. Radwin 5000 L 2. Rajant Breadcrumb ME4 - Rajant BreadCrumbs are rugged wireless nodes to create a mesh network. IMPORTANT NOTE: Wireless link connections must exceed more than 300-Mbps of bandwidth or higher for each link. Also, prefer to create a network mesh environment for redundancy. IMPORTANT NOTE: Vendor must be wireless certified on any of the model suggestions and have more than 3 years of experience with the design, configuration, installation, and implementation of a wireless Point-to-Point environment. Must provide County prove of certification and experience. Testing, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure 100% wireless performance on all links will be performed by (Vendor & ITD CCTV staff). Upon project completion and County approval the Vendor must provide the County with all as built drawings including permit information in a binder with flash drive. Please note: The Port of Miami wireless links are the following: Existing Wireless Point-to-Point Links Link 1 - Port of Miami Administration Building to Tequesta (Private Building on Brickel Avenue) Link 3 - Tequesta to Fisher Island Link 4 - Tequesta to FPL Link 5 - FPL to Fountain Link 6 - Fountain to Watson Link 7 - Port of Miami Administration Building to Overtown North Tower Total of 12 Radios NOTE: As stated above in the scope of work the Port of Miami Administration Building equipment will be relocated to Parking Garage. If vendor has any questions or requires additional information and/or scope of work clarification than he or she will request in writing any details that he or she wants the ITD Project Manager to clarify. Facility access: County staff will provide vendor with access to all locations including private buildings for example: Tequesta & Fisher Island. All work schedules will be during normal County operations from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
