Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Oakland Park, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project encompasses all work necessary to construct a new 9-foot-wide shared-use path along the westside of NE 13 th Avenue, new 5-foot-wide concrete sidewalks,sidewalk, curb and guttersystems, ADA compliant curb ramps, intersection curb returns, as well as pavement markings to enhance safety and accessibility. Additional improvements include construction of drainage structures and exfiltration trenches, and connecting proposed drainage system to the existing 72-inch RCP drainage pipe along NE 13th Avenue. NE 13th Avenue Sidewalk & Drainage Improvements The City is seeking bids from qualified businesses that possess the technical ability and expertise to perform sidewalk and drainage improvements consisting of construction of 5' concrete sidewalks, handrails, ADA ramps, and asphalt and curbs between Prospect Road and NW 38th Street/Park Lane West from I-95/Powerline Road to North Andrews Avenue. BIDS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A BIDSECURITY IN THE FORM OF A BID BOND, certified check, cashier's check, treasurer's check or bank draft, or other form of security acceptable to the city in a sum not less than FIVE PERFENT(5%) of the amount of the base bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into an agreement with the city if the bid is accepted. The City of Oakland Park reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informalities or irregularities in any proposals received, to re-advertise for proposals, or take any similar actions that may be deemed to be in the best interests of the City.
