All project questions must be submitted via email to Alex Stach on March 20th, 2025, by 4:00pm. Questions will be answered and posted to the RFP as an addendum within 72 hours of the above stated time. Questions must be submitted electronically via email. If no addendum is posted to the website, no questions were received. 1. SITE ASSESSMENT - Complete a topographic and ecological survey that includes mapping existing vegetation, fish and wildlife habitat, soil types, and hydrological features. 2. STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT/PUBLIC INPUT - Conduct public meetings, survey, focus groups and workshops or other creative outreach to gather planning input from residents, visitors, and other relevant stakeholders. Please include interpretation services in your proposal. Attend at least two Breckenridge Open Space Advisory Commission (BOSAC) meetings, one Planning Commission meeting, and two Town Council meetings. 3. ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS - Identify current and potential future environmental impacts and develop corresponding adaptive management options. 4. DEVELOP CONCEPTUAL PLAN a. LANDSCAPE DESIGN - Create a comprehensive, sustainable, resilient, and aesthetically pleasing landscape design for the open space properties. b. PRESERVATION DESIGN - Identify areas for passive recreation, fish and wildlife habitat, conservation, and design any proposed uses and trails with consideration for natural river overflow and preservation of the riparian corridor. c. RECREATION DESIGN - Design a network of trails and amenities that are safe, accessible, and sustainable. Include alignment of paved recreation path in recreation design. Consideration should also be made to connect the trails to nearby neighborhoods and the larger Town trail system.
