Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Breckenridge, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Town of Breckenridge is issuing a request for proposals from contractors with experience in landscaping, drainage, irrigation, concrete, and fencing that would support the dog park improvement project described here. Phase 1 of the project includes the addition of drainage features including inlets, swales, berms, and underground pipes. We will be re-aligning both the exterior and interior fences. We will be adding surface materials, including a sand and pea-gravel mix, landscape boulders, paver edging, and native plantings. The irrigation system will be replaced by a newer, more water-efficient system. We will be re-using materials whenever possible, including flagstone pavers at the entrances and picnic tables within the park. We will also be constructing a sidewalk on the north side of the dog park for pedestrians to have a safe walkway from the parking lot.
