The project is expected to be awarded on June 16, 2025 The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary or requiredto complete all work set forth on the project plans and in the project specifications including, but not limited to, upgrades tothe grit removal system and dumpster pad, associated electrical and mechanical work to support the proposed improvements,associated site improvements and fencing, and add alternates to support and provide an overhead pavilion structure. The final date for questions to be sent is March 7, 2025. Bids must be made on the standard Proposal form and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond orCashier's Check drawn to the order of Moorestown Township for ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, provided saidsecurity not be more than $20,000.00. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approvedsurety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance,Payment and Maintenance Bond upon the award of contract. The signed Proposal forms and bid security must be delivered tothe place on or before the hour named above. The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after theNotice of Award or forfeit his bid security. All bid security, except the security of the 3 apparent lowest responsible bidders,shall be returned within 10 days after the opening of the bids, Sundays and holidays excepted, and the bids of such biddersshall be considered as withdrawn. Within 3 days, Sundays and holidays excepted, after the awarding and signing of thecontract and the approval of the contractor's performance bond, the bid security of the remaining unsuccessful bidders shallbe returned to them. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.(Affirmative Action Law); N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (Business Registration Act); and N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. (Public WorksContractor Registration Act). In accordance with P.L. 2021, c. 301, a contractor submitting the lowest bid for a contract that issubject to the Prevailing Wage Act, if that bid is 10 percent or more lower than the next lowest bid, must certify to the publicbody that the prevailing wage rates required by the Act shall be paid.
