United States Coast Guard Station South Padre Island, TX is accepting proposals for qualified individuals or firms to troubleshoot/repair HVAC units in main building RTU4, RTU5, RTU6 and RTU7 and follow up with repairs/ replacements of all defective HVAC components. Prior to submitting a quote, it is mandatory to examine the scope of work and it is highly recommended to visit the facility to take field measurements, evaluations, etc., and become familiar with existing conditions under which the work will be performed. After the award of contract, a pre-conference will be held prior to starting the work at Coast Guard Station South Padre Island. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, and materials to service 4 HVAC units at USCG Station Padre Island, Texas. All work is to be completed in accordance with the scope of work. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for non-commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 36, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and no other written solicitation will not be issued. Instructions to offerors, (FAR Part 36) evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR Provisions and Clauses are attached. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses and Department of Labor Wage Rates for Construction are included in this order and are applicable.
