No definite date for the rebid.** Project Location: Avenal High School 601 E Mariposa St, Avenal, CA 93204 The purpose of this project is to provide a temporary yet cost-effective restoration of the existing tennis court, ensuring it is safe and functional for student use. The restoration includes surface resurfacing, crack repair, fencing replacement with lighting, and other necessary improvements to enhance playability and longevity within budget constraints. The expected lifespan of the temporary fix is 3 to 5 years, depending on weather conditions and usage. This project will be bid using the informal bidding process under the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA), as outlined in Public Contract Code 22032(b). Bids will be solicited from prequalified contractors registered with the District's CUPCCAA contractor list, and award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form provided by the District and included in the bid documents. Each bid must strictly conform with and be responsive to this Notice Inviting Bids and other Contract Documents. Electronic submissions are not allowed. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to see that the bid is received in proper time at the address and department noted herein. Each bid must be submitted with security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum bid amount as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract, if awarded to the bidder, and will provide the performance and payment bonds, insurance certificates and other documents described in the Contract Documents. Such security must be in one of the following forms: (1) a cashier's check made payable to the District; (2) a certified check made payable to the District; or (3) a bond made payable to the District in the form set forth in the Contract Documents. Any bond must have been issued by a California-admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120. Attendees will meet with the Project Manager in the front of the school's flagpole. The class(es) of California contractor's license(s) required in order to bid on and perform the contract for this Project is: Class B With Specialty License Class C-13, C-10, and C-32 The successful bidder will be required to provide both a performance bond and a separate payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount. The forms of the bonds are set forth in the Contract Documents and all bonds must be issued by a California-admitted surety as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120. The Reef-Sunset Unified School District reserves the right to reject any bids, accept or reject items, or waive irregularities.
