Combined estimated quantities of work are: Remove Water Control Structure - 1 EACH, Remove Concrete Walk - 418 SQ FT, Remove and Replace Bituminous Pavement - 198 SQFT, Excavation-Common - 426 CUYD, Common Embankment (CV) - 2615 CUYD, Aggregate Base Class 5 - 360 TON, Bituminous Mixture - 42 TON, Salvage and Install 36" RC Pipe Apron - 1 EACH, 12" RC Pipe Culvert - 10 LIN FT, 36" RC Pipe Culvert - 10 LIN FT, 28" Span RC Pipe Arch Sewer - 26 LIN FT, 24" PE Pipe Sewer - 406 LIN FT, 4" Concrete Walk - 10629 SQFT, 6" Concrete Walk - 725 SQFT, Construct Drainage Structures - 2 EACH, Concrete Curb and Gutter - 614 Lin FT, 6" Concrete Driveway Pavement - 103 SQ YD, Truncated Domes - 75 SQ FT, Traffic Control - 1 LS, Common Topsoil Borrow - 142 CU YD, Silt Fence - 716 LIN FT, Seeding - 0.4 ACRES, Hydraulic BFM - 1400 LBS, and other construction items. Minimum wage rates to be paid by the Contractors have been predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962, P.L. 87-581 and implementing regulations. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must be uploaded with all bids. Minimum wage rates to be paid by the contractor have been predetermined. Read carefully the wage scales contained in the Special Provisions, as they affect this project. Attention is called to the fact that the contractor must comply with the Special Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, contained in the proposal. The County Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or technicalities therein and to award the contract in the best interest of the County.
