Uplift High School - Entrance Lobby 900 W. Wilson Ave., Chicago IL 60640 Deadline to submit Questions Feb 19th 2025, 11:00 AM CST Pre-Qualified Contractor Opportunities Overview: The Uplift High School is located northwest of Chicago downtown, off Lake Shore Drive. The project includes painting and floor replacement work inside the Main Building in various classrooms located on all floors. Walls and interior face of the doors/frames in the listed classrooms will be painted. Floor replacement is required in 6 classrooms. New rubber base will be installed in these rooms. Out of these rooms, the floor in room A300 is environmentally hazardous and requires abatement work. Environmental Reports and Design Manual by SPC Inc. are included in the bid package. Casework in rooms A300 and B300 needs to be removed and disposed. The existing plumbing pipes and fixtures within this casework needs to be removed and capped inside the Masonry block wall. New blocks will need to be installed where removed to facilitate plumbing work. All questions/requests must be received by 2/27/2025. Construction is required to be completed during the CPS Summer break 2025. The earliest start date is 6/16/25. Expected construction duration is 6 weeks. The required Preliminary Acceptance date is 7/25/25.
