Summary of Work Act as Contractor for Removal, Disposal and Installation of New Auditorium Seating. SUMMARY OF WORK Act as Contractor for Construction and Installation of auditorium seating replacement. - Contractor to establish new seating layout (to be reviewed and approved by owner). - Contractor to remove and dispose of existing seating. Contractor to provide dumpster(s). - Contractor to remove existing dedication plaques per seat and return to owner. - The Basis of Design for new seating: Irwin Seating Company - Rialto; model 29.15.REST.4. The following components, options, accessories, upholstery and finishes: - Historic profile padded and upholstered backrest with 2-inch poly foam, one piece tailoring with decorative welt, veneer reveal inner panel, 9-ply hardwood rear panel surfaced with class A veneer and attached with concealed fasteners. - 11/16" thick Il-ply veneer plywood seat with upholstered 3-inch poly pad. Short depth for maximum knee space. - Steel floor mount center stanchions (powder coat finish), cantilevered as necessary to avoid existing HVAC floor vents. - Barrier Free required end of row stanchions with a flip-up armrest (as required by ADA & MBFC). - Adapt and restore existing cast iron end of row stanchions for reuse. - New banana shape solid hardwood end of row armrests. - Concealed LED aisle lighting - Flat solid hardwood center arm rests. - All wood to be Maple species - Rotary Cut. - Bronze or aluminum oval row designation letter plates, mounted on aisle end arm block. - Bronze or aluminum oval seat designation number plates, mounted on seat arm. - Standard wood stain colors. - Standard powder coat colors. - Standard Fabric: Allowance for fabric costing $19.95 per yard (mill pattern, and color TBD). - Wood lag screws for wood floor mounting. - Coordinate removal, disposal and installation of seating with General Contractor and Owner.
