**As of May 01, 2025, the project was awarded to GVL Excavating, with an awarded amount of $197,934.50.** The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: Removal of 1,750 SY of existing asphalt pavement and replacement with 2,025 SY new asphalt pavement, storm sewer, concrete curb and sidewalks, concrete dumpster pad, fencing, lighting, erosion control, restoration and appurtenant work. FUNDING The work to be performed under these contracts will be financed and paid for by funds received from Kent Intermediate School District, Kent County, Michigan. BID SURETY A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to Kent Intermediate School District in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of sixty (60) days after the receipt of bids. The project shall be completed by August 15, 2025. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids for at least sixty (60) days thereafter.
