As of April 28, 2025, the project was awarded to Kamminga & Roodvoets Inc. but the awarded amount is not available Work of the Project includes improvements to two Lakewood Lift Stations, #5 and #14, located in Lake Odessa, Michigan. Improvements include replacing the existing Smith & Loveless suction lift package pump stations with new Gormann Rupp packaged pump stations, Lift Station #5 wet well modification and lining, adding a flow meter and chamber to Lift Station #14, generator replacement at Lift Station #5, installation of force main valves and cleanouts, electrical systems improvements, fittings, valves site grading, landscaping, restorations, and all appurtenant wo This project will be entirely funded by the Lakewood Wastewater Authority; no federal or state grants are involved. A Proposal Guarantee payable to the Lakewood Wastewater Authority, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, must accompany the Proposal in accordance with the Information for Bidders. The right is reserved by the Lakewood Wastewater Authority to accept any Proposal, reject any or all Proposals, and to waive informalities in bidding when it is deemed to be in the interest of the Lakewood Wastewater Authority.
