Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 75,000-square-foot fitness / recreation center.
Description of the Work: Perform re-roofing per specific scope of work documents for each building/roof area: a. Roof Area 1 - 28,000 sf b. Roof Area 2 - 30,000 sf c. Roof Area 3 - 17,000 sf Question Deadline 02/28/2025 All questions are due via email. After 2/28/25 no RFIs will be responded to. Contractors must clarify their bid if questions remain unanswered. Questions shall be emailed to jenkinschase@mwacrs.com and copy owners' representative emails: gpostema@walker.city and smulvey@walkericeandfitness.com Bid Documents: Contractors will be provided bid documents. Contractors are responsible for verification of all necessary field information necessary to provide their bids to perform the work as intended in the specifications Insurance: Contractors shall carry a minimum of $2 million in liability coverage. City of Walker shall be named as additionally insured. Permits: Contractor to secure all necessary permits with the City of Walker Safety: Contractors shall submit their safety plan in the submittals process and introduce their safety officer to the owner at time of preconstruction meeting. Prior to start of work, provide a copy in writing, how your team will follow the established safe work practices for the City of Walker. Per request of the City of Walker, general clean-up of the jobsite will be required on a daily basis. - The City of Walker reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
