The Town is seeking a highly qualified firm to provide all labor, materials, and equipment, supplies, services, shop drawing review, expertise and supervision to fully develop plans and specifications as well as construct both a post tension concrete tennis court and a post tension concrete basketball court. Clarification Deadline 3/20/2025 5:00 PM The work included in this design and construction bid consists of the following: o Submission of State of Connecticut licensed engineering drawings and specifications for posttension concrete systems and fencing, along with necessary construction details for the courts. Engineering drawings and specifications must be prepared and signed and stamped by a Professional Engineer licensed in the State of CT with PTI Certification. o Demolition of the existing courts and reclaiming of existing bituminous concrete court surfaces. o Demolition and disposal of existing fencing at tennis court. o Construction of a new post-tension concrete tennis court. o Furnish and install new fencing around tennis court o Construction of new post-tension concrete basketball court. o Removal of (2) 4-feet wide bituminous concrete paths and construction of (2) new 5-feet wide bituminous concrete paths. o Furnish and install acrylic-based sports surfaces for concrete courts, including basketball court center logo. o Furnish and install tennis court equipment (net post footings, center anchors, nets, etc.) o Furnish and install basketball systems (post footings, post, backboard, hoop, net, etc.)
