The City of Charlottetown invites proposals to provide Traffic Control Persons (TCP). TCP must have required PPE, and Traffic Sign. TCP must have their own transportation to and from construction sites within City of Charlottetown limits. All Traffic Control Persons/Signalers must use CSA approved personal protective equipment including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hard hats, reflective vests, and reflective sleeves. For nighttime traffic control all Traffic Control Persons/Signalers will wear highly reflective clothing, vests, hard hats and cuffs. Reflective clothing will meet the requirements of CSA Z96-15 Standard for High Visibility Safety Apparel. Additional equipment required for nighttime work is reflective paddles and illuminated batons. The Contract will be for March 2025 to April 1st, 2026, and may be extended for an additional one-year period upon agreement of both parties.
