The Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority (GACRAA) is soliciting sealed bids for the preparation and painting of a steel aircraft shade hangar at the Gainesville Regional Airport. The structure is approximately 17,500 square feet in area. The project includes proper removal/treatment of rust and preparation and painting of all structural steel members and framing. Questions concerning the RFB must be submitted in writing no later than Tuesday, March 17, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Questions should be emailed to: Lynn Noffsinger, lynn.noffsinger@flygainesville.com. No oral questions related to the content or the interpretation of the RFB will be accepted during tours or at any time during the RFB selection process Bids must be signed by an authorized official, enclosed in a sealed envelope or package clearly marked: "Project 25-003 Preparation and Painting of Aircraft Shade Hangar GA24" and mailed or delivered to Gainesville Regional Airport, Attn: Chief Executive Officer, 3880 NE 39th Ave, Suite A, Gainesville, Florida, 32609 Bidder must submit one original bid package, clearly marked "original" and two copies. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms are encouraged to participate.
