As of May 23, 2025, the project was awarded to Sacks & Sons, Inc., with an awarded amount of $449,965.74. For the 2025 Roadway Improvement Project. The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, and oversight necessary for the pavement milling, including base repairs as required, pavement overlay and striping of various asphalt paved roadways within the Borough of Trappe and all other work indicated in the Contract Documents. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized todo business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. Immediately following the due date and time, all bids received through PennBid will be opened online at the Engineer's Office and referred to the Owner for final award. An abstract of the bids received will be available to bidders on PennBid following the date and time that bids are due as indicated above. The Borough of Trappe reserves the right to acceptor reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to with hold award for a period of sixty days.
