The City of Toledo (COT) is requesting Qualifications Statements for prequalification of a prime contractor to construct the Division of Water Treatment Distribution System Improvements - Phase 1 and Phase 2 Projects which is included in the City of Toledo's Water Capital Improvement Program. The purpose of this project is to provide elevated water storage and water supply in the event of a High Service Pumping Station outage and provide boosted water distribution pressures in the northwesterly part of the City. The major project components are located at five locations throughout the City and Lucas County and are as follows: - Northover Pumping Station and 2 - 2 MG Elevated Storage Tanks - 2 MG Schneider Elevated Tank and approximately 600 LF 30" Water Main - 2 MG Holland Sylvania Elevated Tank - Bancroft Street Boundary Structure - Byrne Road Boundary Structure The facilities will be owned and operated by the COT. Bid Bond 0.00% Payment Bond 0.00% Performance Bond 0.00% Type of Award Lump Sum PROJECTDESCRIPTION The Work will be performed under a competitively bid prime Contract and will consist of providing all plant, labor, materials and equipment and performing all operations required for the complete construction of the Distribution System Improvements - Phase 1 and Phase 2 Projects, including, but not limited to: The Elevated Storage Tanks and Pumping Station - Phase 1 project consists of: o 2 - 2 MG elevated storage tanks o A 29 MGD pumping station inside the two tank bases Two horizontal split case pumps in each tank base Pump controls located on second floor Two packaged diesel generators in housed enclosures o Bancroft Street and Byrne Road boundary zone control structures Each subgrade valve control structure has a pressure reducing valve, check valve, isolation valves, electrical service and miscellaneous appurtenances. o There is an interim substantial completion date for 1 - 2 MG elevated storage tank connected to distributions system The Elevated Storage Tanks - Phase 2 project consists of: o 2 MG Schneider Park elevated storage tank o 2 MG Holland Sylvania elevated storage tank o Approximately 600 LF of 30" water main.
