Site work and asbestos abatement for an educational facility in Glendale Heights, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.

Bidders must be Illinois Department of Public Health Licensed Asbestos Contractors in good standing with experience in Illinois school abatement projects over $50,000. Contractors are required to receive a bid package prior to the walkthrough. Failure to attend will result in disqualification of the bidder's bid. By submission of bid it is understood that the Bidder has satisfied this mandatory requirement. Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond from a company with an A-1 best rating, in the amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the bid opening date without the consent of the Owner. Checks or drafts of unsuccessful bidders will be returned as soon as possible as practicable after opening and checking the bids. Successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract. Contractor shall include the cost of the required performance and payment bond in this sum. The Awarded Contractor is responsible for all work outlined in this specification which is not bid as a separate contract, and be responsible for coordination with existing trades working on the project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding.
