The School Board of Polk County, Florida (The Board) is interested in entering into a contract with qualified Environmental, Commissioning, or 3rd Party Inspection services firms to provide Environmental, Commissioning, or 3rd Party Inspection services work of a specified nature as outlined in the contract required by The Board. The specified services shall consist of providing Environmental, Commissioning, or 3rd Party Inspection services, for Continuing Contracts as listed below in the scope of services. The Environmental, Commissioning, or 3rd Party Inspection firm is responsible for the successful, timely, and economical completion of any project. To be eligible for consideration, interested firms must be qualified pursuant to the laws of the State of Florida and School Board Policies and Procedures. Those firms desiring to provide professional services as listed must complete and submit initial screening criteria (Section 5) of the Selection Process for Continuing Contract for Environmental, Commissioning, and 3rd Party Inspection Services procedures manual to include a resume of their qualifications and past experience; include proof of Professional Liability Insurance. Firms will obtain a copy of the Selection Process from online portal, prior to the mandatory Pre-submittal Conference. The sign-in sheet must be signed by a firm no later than 9:00 a.m. on the date specified below. After that time, the sign-in sheet will not be available. Firms that submit the initial screening criteria but whose signature is not on the mandatory Pre-Submittal Conference sign-in sheet will not be given consideration and the initial screening criteria package will be returned. All of our facilities are "controlled access" buildings. All visitors will be required to obtain a visitor's pass. A photo ID is required. Arrive early to allow for the check-in procedure with the receptionist in building A.
